We are finishing the Stop, Look, and Listen series with a class that ranges from 18 months to 4 1/2. It's a wide age range, but the best we can do in our current building. The series has gone very well . The kids have gained a lot of knowledge, particularly in evidence that Jesus is God's Son and He's the most important of everything/one. My question is about the next series. I'm ordering it this week, to start in about a month. I'm somewhat concerned that the lessons in that series may be too abstract for our class. We combine the level 1 workbook/expectations with about half of the class-in-a-box lesson plan to meet all our students' needs. Do you think we will successfully be able to use that series or should we add more studies from the Stop, Look, and Listen series in order to give more concrete lessons? Thanks for your series! We're really enjoying it!

We make a conscious effort to emphasize aspects of the last week, death, and resurrection that will be meaningful to younger children. The topics covers for 2s & 3s in the Teaching Sheets and Take Home Cards are as follows:
Jesus Rides Into Jerusalem; people were happy and praise Him Jesus Looks Into our Hearts; the widow gave all she had The End is Coming! We must be ready at all times Jesus Wants us to be Ready; wise and foolish girls Jesus Serves Other; washing the disciples’ feet Jesus is the Vine; We are the Branches; connected to Him The Lord’s Supper; the bread and the juice reminds us of Jesus Jesus is Arrested; praying in Gethsemane Jesus is Crucified; Jesus’ love for us Jesus Dies on the Cross Jesus Rises from the Dead! Jesus Lives! Appearances after the resurrection Jesus Returns to Heaven

We are starting the Loving hears and Working Hands but feel the workbook hits at a 3rd grade level and are afraid the older one will become bored with out more "activities" do you have resources? Also are you planning to update all of your Teacher's Guides" to have the Sunday/Wednesday lesson plan and format. I think it is done well int eh "All Things Made New series.

We are currently in the process of updating all of our Teacher's Lesson Guides. They will be in the Sunday/Wednesday format that you currently find in All Things Made New, Take Time to be Holy and Stop, Look, and Listen. Next out will be God's Mighty Hand.
